Komondor Portrait in Mixco Courtyard Dawn Light

A Komondor stands at eye level against a weathered plain courtyard wall in Mixco, its heavy corded coat hanging in thick, textured dreadlocks that catch the cold silver light of dawn. The dog's dark eyes look forward with an attentive stillness, while the muzzle shape remains distinct beneath the heavy facial fur. Dust hangs low above the cracked concrete ground, illuminated by the first rays of morning. The plain wall behind shows faint cracks and patches of discoloration, at the base of the subject in a lived-in urban environment. The animal's ears sit folded close to the head, framed by the thick white cords that drape over its shoulders and chest. A thin layer of morning mist rests on the lower edge of the wall near the dog's paws.
