A curly-coated Miniature Poodle stands centered against a weathered stucco wall in a Tijuana courtyard, its dense fleece catching the first light of late summer morning. The dog's dark eyes reflect the soft, directional glow that washes over its muzzle and defines the precise set of its folded ears. Heat haze shimmers faintly in the air above the dusty concrete floor, blurring the lower edge of the frame while the dog remains sharp. Faded paint peels in vertical strips along the pale wall behind the subject, adding texture to the background. The animal's stance is still and dignified, its paws planted firmly on the sun-baked ground as the morning sun highlights the silver tips of its fur.
