Jungle Vines Overgrown Warehouse Sorting Desk in at a parcel sorting belt in Niğde

Jungle Vines Overgrown Warehouse Sorting Desk

by Floyd Robles

Thick green jungle vines have erupted from the floor, wrapping around half of a short-pick resolution desk in a Niğde parcel sorting facility. The industrial concrete floor remains visible on one side, against the chaotic organic growth that now engulfs the other half. Fluorescent lights overhead cast soft, diffused reflections on the wet-looking leaves and the smooth metal surfaces of the desk. Converging lines of the sorting belt guide toward a distant vanishing point where the vines and machinery merge. One leaf rests on a barcode scanner, its jagged edge catching the light. The scene blends operational precision with sudden, impossible nature.
