Jewel Red Pomegranate Seeds Against Blue Hour Snow

Steel-blue twilight washes the frame, casting a cool glow over a hand holding a pomegranate split to reveal its interior. The fruit rests against a blurred backdrop of late autumn branches in the outskirts of Addis Ababa, where the air is heavy with falling snowflakes. Each jewel-red seed gleams with a wet, translucent sheen, contrasting sharply with the muted gray of the winter sky. Fine white flakes drift across the deep crimson flesh, settling momentarily on the glossy skin before vanishing. The shallow depth of field isolates the fruit, turning the background into a soft wash of indigo and charcoal. One snowflake rests on the rim of a seed, its delicate geometry stark against the rich, saturated color of the pulp.
