Iron Deadbolt in Tokyo

A weathered iron deadbolt protrudes from the dark wood of a traditional sliding door, catching the cool blue twilight that floods the narrow alleyway outside. The metal surface shows signs of age with faint scratches and a dull patina that contrasts sharply with the deep shadows of the door frame. Above the lock, a small brass nameplate reflects the dim ambient light, adding a touch of warm tone to the otherwise monochromatic scene. Rain beads on the surface of the metal, hinting at the recent shower that has left the surrounding pavement glistening and reflective.
