The fabric absorbs the indirect afternoon light bouncing off pale walls, highlighting the coarse texture of the denim against the smooth metal bars. Deep shadows pool in the folds of the trousers, creating a warm contrast to the cool blue tones of the clothing. A few hangers rest on the lower bar, holding shirts that have not yet been steamed. The steam blurs the edges of the nearest sleeve, softening the sharp lines of the fabric into a hazy silhouette against the dim backstage space.
