Horizontal Jungle Tree Aerial View Brazil in high over greenhouse grids in Brazil

Horizontal Jungle Tree Aerial View Brazil

by Eric Smith

Early morning light spills across a vast expanse of greenhouse grids in Brazil, where rows of geometric structures stretch toward a distant horizon. Deep shadows pool between the concrete ribs, while a sharp rim light traces the edges of the buildings. A humid mist hovers just above the surfaces, softening the sharp angles of the infrastructure. Dominating the center, a massive tropical tree grows perfectly horizontally out of a vertical concrete wall, its branches extending outward like a natural bridge. The foliage is lush and green, fully leafed and healthy, defying gravity without bending or drooping. The river below winds in a serpentine path, reflecting the pale sky and the impossible growth above it. One leaf rests on the wet concrete edge of the wall.
