Orange low-angle sunlight spills across the concrete surface of a Sukhumvit helipad, illuminating the fabric of a temporary medical canopy. Two folded cots sit stacked beneath the shelter, their white canvas creased and resting against the gray pavement. Portable exam lights with flexible necks stand upright, their metal bodies catching the warm glow. Heavy overcast clouds gather above, diffusing the sky into a soft gray backdrop that contrasts with the intense amber light hitting the equipment. The dry season air leaves the concrete dust-free and bright. One shadow from a cot leg stretches sharply across the ground, ending at the edge of a yellow safety stripe painted on the roof.
