Early morning light spills across the weathered limestone facade of a traditional Omani house, illuminating a narrow alleyway where a vendor arranges a vibrant heap of purple eggplants on a wooden crate. Beside the produce, a woven palm frond basket holds fresh green herbs, their damp leaves catching the soft sunrise glow. A few sun hats hang from a rusted metal hook on the wall, casting long, sharp shadows against the textured plaster. In the foreground, the curved ceramic rim of a gravy boat sits inverted on a small table, perhaps used for serving tea to passersby.
