Hanging Air Plant in Morning Rim Light

A Tillandsia hangs suspended from a weathered wooden beam, its silvery-green leaves curling inward against the deep shadow of a shaded porch. Early spring light cuts a sharp, glowing rim along the outer edges of the foliage, separating the plant from the dark interior. The background opens to a vast, cloudless blue sky stretching over the arid hills near Boise. Fine, dry grasses and sparse sagebrush dots the distant slopes below.
