Hand-painted Terracotta Vase in Luxor

by Kimberly Herring

A small, hand-painted terracotta vase sits on a rough limestone windowsill inside a traditional Luxor home. The warm afternoon light streams through the open window, casting long shadows across the textured clay surface. Faded blue and white geometric patterns decorate the vase, against the dusty, sun-bleached walls of the room. One dried palm frond rests against the base, adding a touch of organic texture to the still life.
