Clay Pot in Cairo

A terracotta clay pot sits on a rough limestone windowsill inside a dimly lit room in Cairo, catching the last blue twilight from outside. The warm orange glow of a taper candle inside the pot casts long, flickering shadows against the textured interior walls. Nearby, two wooden stools rest on the dusty floor, their legs worn smooth by years of daily use. One ceramic mug rests on the sill beside the pot, its rim reflecting the soft ambient light.
