Grid of Slow Feeders at Dog Wash Warsaw

by Jackson Blanchard

Bright midday light falls through sheer curtains, illuminating a row of specialized slow-feeder bowls arranged on a stainless steel counter. The foreground bowl sits in sharp focus, its rubber texture and deep ridges catching the cool winter sun. Behind it, the wall dissolves into an impossible grid of hundreds of identical bowls, repeating endlessly into the distance. The repetition creates a rhythmic pattern of shadows along the white tiles. A faint reflection of the bowls glides across the wet floor, at the base of the surreal multiplication in the reality of the self-serve station. The scene remains still, with no animals present, only the geometric order of the duplicated feeding equipment.
