Sunlight pierces the open ceiling of a stone passageway, striking a tall granite obelisk that dominates the wet plaza floor. Raindrops create small splashes against the polished stone base, while low angles cast long, sharp shadows stretching across the slick pavement. Water beads on the obelisk's fluted surface, catching the warm amber glow of the setting sun. The Dutch tilt of the structure adds a dynamic tension to the scene, showing the vertical lines against the slanted horizon. Rain streaks blur the distant architectural edges, leaving the foreground sharp and glistening. at the edge is a single droplet sliding down the stone corner, reflecting the sky.
