Soft gray light falls through heavy overcast skies, settling on a stone courtyard in Hassan where a Georgian supra feast unfolds. A wooden table laden with traditional dishes and wine glasses sits beneath an arched stone entryway, creating a frame within a frame. The tamada stands near the head of the table, gesturing with a raised hand as he leads the toast. Wet stones glisten underfoot, reflecting the muted afternoon tones. Guests in dark wool coats sit on low benches, their faces turned toward the speaker. Damp air hangs visibly in the stillness, condensing on the rim of a ceramic bowl. one drop of water slides down the curved edge of a clay jug, marking the turn of the seasons.
