Frozen River in Winter Tundra Near Oslo
Snow falls in a soft, vertical drift across a vast expanse of white tundra. A dark, frozen river cuts a jagged line through the landscape, its surface appearing almost black against the surrounding snow. Far below, a grid of orchard blocks and irrigation lines forms a geometric pattern in the distance, barely visible through the falling flakes. The honeyed evening light casts long, low shadows that stretch across the uneven ground, creating a textured surface of gold and deep grey. The riverbank edges are sharp and defined, against the soft accumulation of snow. In the foreground, the ice surface reflects the fading sky, while the distant orchards remain in a cool, silhouetted haze. One patch of exposed earth near the riverbank breaks the uniformity of the white cover.
