Frozen River Meandering Through Winter Tundra

A thick layer of mist hovers over the stark white tundra, softening the edges of the landscape beneath a late afternoon sky. A dark, frozen river cuts a sinuous path through the expansive ice, its frozen surface appearing almost black against the pale snow. The ground stretches endlessly in every direction, a vast sheet of winter silence where no vegetation breaks the uniformity. Soft, diffused light from the low sun eliminates harsh shadows, creating a flat, monochromatic palette of greys and whites. Small ridges in the ice texture create subtle variations in tone across the frozen water. The river curves sharply near the bottom right corner, marking a distinct boundary between the dark channel and the surrounding snowfield.
