Warm candlelight washes over a textured stone wall near Diocletian's Palace, casting intricate geometric shadows from hanging fishing nets. The dry season air leaves the ancient masonry exposed and rough, against the soft, dark patterns of the mesh. City lights begin to glow faintly through the background, adding depth to the interior space. The rhythmic repetition of the netting creates a visual beat across the surface, while the warm glow highlights the uneven grain of the stone. A small, sharp shadow edge defines the boundary where the net meets the wall, at the base of the abstract pattern in physical reality.
