Sunlight streams through a high skylight, illuminating a cluster of desks piled with open notebooks and scattered papers in a Najaf seminar room. The polished floor reflects the bright afternoon sky, while shadows from the desk edges stretch across the tiles. Beside the workspace, a concrete staircase rises, its wall adorned with rows of yellowed championship photographs. These faded images show students in athletic uniforms, their colors muted by time. A warm lamp glow begins to pool in the upper corners where the skylight fades, highlighting the texture of the worn paper frames. One notebook lies open near the desk edge, its pages filled with dense handwriting in Arabic script.
