Warm golden hour light spills across the edge of a polished metal garment rack holding rows of hand-dyed nylon outerwear. The fabric ripples slightly, catching the low sun in shifting bands of amber and burnt orange that contrast with the cool, flat glow of overhead warehouse fluorescents. Every hanger bears a small look tag clipped to the plastic loop. Behind the rack, a large mirror lined with bright makeup bulbs reflects the room, doubling the polished steel surfaces and the soft texture of the nylon. The jackets hang in tight formation, their synthetic sheen glowing against the industrial gray of the warehouse walls. One tag flutters near the bottom, its paper edge catching a sharp highlight from the window light.
