Cold moonlight illuminates a weathered pickup truck parked on a wet dirt road beside the harbor mouth of Ciudad del Este. The vehicle kicks up a thick trail of reddish-brown dust that hangs suspended in the damp, fogbound air. Early autumn moisture rests on the truck's faded paint, while brief rain from a sun shower creates a slick sheen on the ground. Reflections from the wet surface mirror the truck's silhouette and the faint glow of distant harbor lights, forming a symmetrical composition. Heavy fog obscures the water's edge, blending the dark road with the gray sky. Rust patches on the bumper contrast with the smooth, wet mud. A puddle at the tire's base shows the inverted shape of the cabin.
