Raw steel racks holding curved elevator cab protection pads stand in deep shadow beside the skeletal frame of a building under construction in Puerto Madero. First light of winter dawn cuts a thin rim of cool silver along the top edges of the metal supports while the rest of the structure remains in cool blue darkness. Unfinished glazing panels let in muted daylight that reveals the texture of dust on the steel surfaces. A brief sun shower creates wet reflections on the concrete floor, darkening the ground beneath the racks. The scene shows the quiet discipline of trade coordination as the metal frames align precisely with the exposed concrete columns. Raindrops bead on the unpainted steel, catching the faint gray glow of the sky.
