The dry season air hangs heavy as warm interior shadows stretch across the floor, against the pale blue morning glow. Metal surfaces gleam under the low light, reflecting the urgency of the harvest day ahead. Wooden crates sit stacked along the walls, waiting for the first batch of olives. Leading lines of the machinery draw toward the open doorway where the rural horizon begins to brighten. one drop of water slides down the side of a metal pipe, catching the first rays of sun.
