Date Palms Reflecting in Shoreline Spring at Sunset

Golden horizon light wraps the tops of date palms clustered around a small spring along a wave-cut shoreline near Phoenix. The cool season air whips through the fronds, bending them sharply toward the water. Calm water creates a perfect mirrored composition, doubling the dark green trunks and the soft orange sky. Dry, sandy banks border the spring, scattered with fallen leaves and small pebbles. The wind carves visible ripples across the surface, distorting the reflection into shifting geometric patterns. Shadows stretch long across the sand, at the base of the scene in the late afternoon glow. One palm frond touches the water's edge, creating a sharp dark line against the bright reflection.
