Soft overcast light falls through a thick layer of condensation clinging to the curved glass wall of a Venezuelan dairy milking parlor. The air inside hangs heavy with damp heat, turning the transparent surface into a textured sheet of blurred white. Below, the concrete floor reflects muted shapes of metal stanchions and equipment in distorted gray patches. Dry season dust settles on the lower edges of the frame, against the slick moisture above. Rusty bolts and worn rubber hoses line the base of the wall, showing signs of daily use. A faint vertical seam in the glass divides the view, leading toward the darkened interior where the day's labor awaits.
