Cyclists Racing Velodrome Curve Hong Kong Dawn

Rain slicks the curved wooden track as cyclists blur into streaks of neon and chrome, their wheels spinning with urgent momentum. Soft, overcast light diffuses across the scene, eliminating harsh shadows while a fine drizzle glistens on the riders' helmets and jerseys. In the background, the gray expanse of a river stretches toward a distant, misty shoreline, hinting at Hong Kong's coastal geography. The velodrome's concrete barriers rise steeply, framing the action against a backdrop of damp, gray sky and wet pavement. Raindrops rest on the air, blurring the edges of the track and merging the motion of the racers with the stillness of the pre-dawn riverbank. One puddle near the barrier reflects the faint, cool light of the sky.
