Cycad Cone on Workbench in Olive Press

Pale midsummer light falls through the high greenhouse glazing, illuminating a solitary cycad cone resting on a rough wooden workbench. The cone's olive-green scales catch the soft overcast glow, standing out against weathered oak and iron tools. Behind it, heavy stone presses and stacked clay jars sit in shadows where early morning lamplight has just begun to fade. Dust hangs suspended above the stone floor, settling into the corners of the vast, utilitarian space. The wide panoramic view reveals the scale of the agricultural machinery, showing the practical, unadorned nature of the room. One ray of pale sunlight strikes the cone's tip, highlighting its waxy surface against the dimming lamplight in the far corner.
