Copper Guitar String Detail in Novara Theater

Cold moonlight washes over the tightly wound copper strands of a guitar string, revealing the rough texture of the metal against the dark stage floor. The fine spiral of the wire catches faint reflections, creating sharp highlights that contrast with the shadowed grooves between the coils. Behind the string, the blurred silhouette of theater seating fades into the gray pre-dawn gloom, while heavy overcast skies outside diffuse the light into a uniform, cool gray. Dust motes remain suspended in the still air, settling on the polished wood of the instrument's neck nearby. The copper wire spirals downward, its metallic sheen standing out against the muted, dry season tones of the empty theater interior. One reflection of the moon glints on the lowest curve of the wound wire.
