Sunlight cuts sharply across the weathered facade of a narrow Izmir shop, illuminating a cluster of hanging garments that serve as both inventory and informal display. Several cotton aprons in faded indigo and terracotta dangle from rusted hooks, their fabric catching the winter noon glare while shadows pool in the creases of the dark textile below. A glass carafe sits on a low wooden ledge, its surface beaded with condensation that contrasts with the dry, dusty air outside.
