Concrete Pump Boom at Louisiana Construction Site

Gray concrete flows steadily from the end of an extended pump boom across a wet construction deck in early summer Louisiana. The late morning light, though filtered by a light drizzle, creates a flat, diffused glow over the wet surfaces. Water droplets bead on the metal ribs of the boom and run down the vertical rebar sticking from the fresh pour.
