Cheesemaker Stirring Copper Vat Curds
Warm string lights cast a golden pool over a wooden workbench where a large copper vat holds pale, curdled milk. From a high three-quarter angle, a wooden paddle rests inside the vat, its handle extending toward the edge of the frame. The copper surface reflects the overhead glow, against the rough grain of the weathered wood beneath. Deep blue evening light filters in from the background, settling into the corners of the room while the foreground remains illuminated by the artificial strings. The mixture inside the vat appears thick and uneven, showing the texture of fresh curds. A small metal ladle sits nearby on the bench, its handle pointing toward the copper vessel. The light fades sharply at the edges of the workbench, leaving the surrounding darkness undefined.
