Golden late afternoon light slants through the wrought-iron grille of a narrow Seville balcony, illuminating a patch of dusty terracotta paving where a woman in a faded floral apron pauses to check her phone. Beside her feet, a cluster of potted herbs—rosemary and thyme—spill over the edge of a weathered wooden workbench that serves as an impromptu drying rack for ceramic plates. The plates exhibit a speckled stoneware glaze, their rough edges catching the warm glow. A simple wall hook holds a leather apron, while a small peg basket rests nearby, filled with clothespins. The deep shadows of the adjacent building, creating a stark contrast between the sun-drenched workspace and the cool, shaded interior doorway.
