Bridge Maintenance Cradle Over Brazilian Tidal Water

Bright midmorning sunlight floods the space beneath a massive concrete bridge span in Brazil, illuminating a steel maintenance cradle suspended by thick ropes. The cradle hangs just above green tidal water, its metal rail lashed with heavy-duty tools and coiled cables ready for use. Fine spray and mist rise from the water's surface, clinging to the underside of the concrete deck and creating a hazy veil against the gray structure.
