Brass Tea Kettles in Kathmandu
Three brass tea kettles sit clustered on a rough stone windowsill, catching the warm, low-angle light of the Kathmandu sunset. The oldest kettle shows signs of heavy use with a darkened base and a long, curved spout that reflects the orange sky. Beside them, a second kettle features intricate embossed patterns along its cylindrical body, standing slightly taller than its neighbors. A third, smaller vessel rests in the shadows, its surface gleaming with a thin layer of dust that highlights the texture of the aged metal. The golden hour sun casts long, sharp shadows across the stone, showing the rugged texture of the windowsill and the metallic sheen of the kettles.
