A street-side temple workshop glows in the cool, blue-hour light of early morning Bangkok, where a monk in saffron robes carefully polishes a brass offering bowl with a dusting cloth. Beside him, a stack of drying towels hangs from a bamboo pole, their wet fabric heavy and dark against the bright fabric. A dented metal rim of a discarded bicycle wheel catches the first sharp ray of sun, creating a bright specular highlight that contrasts with the rough concrete floor. Hydrangeas in a chipped ceramic pot sit near the entrance, their pale purple petals glistening with dew.
