Pale dawn light slides across a stone ledge where musicians in dark uniforms stand in tight formation. Brass instruments gleam with cool metallic highlights against the dim interior. Lamplight settles into the far corners, casting soft pools of warm yellow against the cool blue-gray stone. Faces show disciplined focus as the group prepares to turn a corner. The tight framing shows the curve of a trumpet bell and the texture of leather straps on a snare drum. Shadows stretch long and thin across the floor, marking the early hour. A reflection of the brass glints on the polished stone surface near the musicians' boots.
