Hard coastal glare illuminates a dense hedge of boxwood trimmed into precise, organic shapes. The deep green leaves glisten with a fine sheen of sea spray, catching the midday sun against pale stone terraces. Neat rows of the shrubs define the garden plots near Oujda, their rounded forms against the angular geometry of the stone walls. The light casts sharp, narrow shadows beneath the foliage, showing the texture of the trimmed leaves. A faint haze of moisture hangs in the air, softening the distant horizon where the terraced slopes descend. The nearest leaf edge reflects a bright, white highlight against the darker, shadowed interior of the bush.
