Blue Hour Wildflowers in Andean Meadow Near La Paz
by Abby Hanson
Soft indigo light washes over a high-altitude meadow near La Paz, where clusters of purple, yellow, and white wildflowers stand against the fading day. Low-hanging clouds press close to the ground, diffusing the last ambient glow into a cool, even illumination. The flowers, still vibrant in early autumn, rise from dark, damp earth that reflects the sky's muted tones. Layers of vegetation recede into the distance, creating a deep sense of scale as the meadow slopes gently downward. A small pool of water in the foreground catches the reflected light, mirroring the cloudy sky above. The scene remains still, with no movement in the tall grasses or the delicate petals. Shadows stretch long across the terrain, showing the low angle of the sun. at the edge is the sharp edge of a single blue flower petal against the dark soil.
