Cold blue-gray dawn light washes over a heavy steel safety harness rail mounted on a wet concrete barrier. Mud coats the access road, mixing with fallen autumn leaves in shades of russet and brown. A white punch-list hangs loosely from the rail, its paper edges curling slightly in the damp air. Rigging lines stretch tautly into the background, disappearing into the heavy overcast sky. The wet concrete reflects the pale sky, creating a slick surface that mirrors the steel structure. The scene is defined by the rough texture of the mud and the cold sheen of the metal. One raindrop rests on the edge of the punch-list paper, catching the dim light.
