A street food vendor in a busy Hong Kong alleyway stands behind a stainless steel cart as the sun sets, casting long shadows across the pavement. The vendor uses tongs to arrange slices of biltong and droëwors on a serving tray, preparing a unique fusion offering for passing customers. Next to the meat tray sits a large bowl of borscht, its deep red color against the yellow rye bread placed beside it. In the background, the dense urban fabric of Hong Kong rises, with neon signs beginning to glow against the twilight sky. Pedestrians walk past, some glancing at the unusual food selection, while others hurry home, unaware of the culinary experiment taking place in the fading light.
