Biltong and Droëwors on Tea House Tray

Warm candlelight spills across a wooden tea house tray, illuminating strips of cured biltong and coiled droëwors arranged in a rustic display. The meat hangs with a deep mahogany sheen, its texture rough and fibrous under the glow. Fine dust motes drift through the shafts of light, suspended in the humid air of the room. Shadows stretch long and soft across the table, showing the rich, earthy tones of the dried meats against the warm wood grain.
