Soft overcast light from a wet Kigali morning fills the frame, settling on a polished metal diner table. A white ceramic plate holds three scoops of creamy panna cotta, their smooth surfaces reflecting faint highlights. Thick ribbons of deep red berry coulis swirl across the dessert, pooling in the crevices. The glossy table surface mirrors the plate and the bright, diffused window light. No shadows cut sharply; instead, the moisture in the air softens every edge. A silver spoon rests on the right side of the plate, its handle catching a small glint of the midmorning brightness. The wet season atmosphere hangs in the clarity of the light hitting the cream.
