Beagle Drinking in Muscat
A narrow service corridor in a Muscat apartment block glows under the harsh sodium streetlight bleeding through a high security grille. A Beagle stands on its hind legs, paws resting on a low concrete sink, drinking from a dripping faucet while a human hand reaches in to adjust the flow. The dog’s short fur catches the yellow spill, against the cool blue of a nearby glass bottle of water left on the ledge. A worn hand towel hangs limp from a rusted rail, its edge frayed and damp, while enamel bowls stacked in the corner reflect the chaotic mix of street and interior light.
