Basted Jacket Beside Mirror Bulbs in Jyväskylä Atelier

Flat noon skylight floods the narrow backstage corridor in Jyväskylä, bouncing off pale walls to create a cool, uniform brightness. A wool jacket with thick white basting threads hangs against the wall, positioned at the edge of the frame. Beside it, a row of round vanity bulbs emits a warmer, localized glow that settles into the corners where artificial lamplight meets the daylight. Exposed wiring runs along the ceiling, and scuffed floorboards show the raw production texture of the space. The heavy fabric drapes with visible weight, its unhemmed edges resting near the glass surface of the nearest bulb. A faint reflection of the hanging threads appears on the curved glass.
