A woven basket tray sits on a concrete ledge in Nairobi, Kenya, catching the first warm rays of the early morning sun. Inside the tray, several small clay pots rest securely, their rough surfaces glowing with a soft orange hue from the low angle of light. Dust motes dance in the bright shafts of sunlight that spill across the textured rim of the basket and the surrounding pavement.
