A rusty bicycle basket sits on a muddy path in Nairobi, its wire mesh filled with damp earth and scattered red strawberries. Mist rests on the low morning light, softening the edges of the woven metal and highlighting the wet skin of the fruit. Nearby, a hand fork lies partially buried in the soil, its tines coated in dark, rich mud from recent gardening work. The quiet labor of early morning harvest in a local urban garden.
