Basil Plant in Copenhagen

A small potted basil plant sits on a white painted windowsill, its green leaves catching the bright late morning light from the Copenhagen street below. The pot is simple terracotta, against the crisp white frame of the window that looks out onto a typical Danish residential facade. Sunlight illuminates the soil surface and casts soft shadows across the sill, highlighting the texture of the leaves and the grain of the wood.
