Flat noon light bleaches the sky, leaving a pale wash over the rugged Tien Shan foothills near Bishkek. A lone figure in a dark jumpsuit plummets feet-first, limbs spread wide against the vertical drop. The jumper's face shows fierce concentration, eyes fixed on the horizon. Below, the cliff face reveals layers of sedimentary rock in shades of tan and gray, fractured by sparse green shrubs typical of late spring. Low-hanging clouds drift just above the valley floor, creating a soft, diffuse backdrop that contrasts with the sharp angles of the stone.
