Banyan Grove Aerial Roots Pillars Meadow

Thick, woody aerial roots descend from the sprawling canopy to form sturdy pillars embedded in the damp, dark earth of a Maldivian meadow. The ground is carpeted with vibrant, low-lying blooms that shift between deep magentas and soft yellows under the soft, overcast late-afternoon sky. Leaves skitter across the textured soil, caught in sudden gusts that ripple the grasses surrounding the ancient tree trunks.
