Bamboo Flute Maker Silhouette at Colombo Jazz Club

Deep indigo twilight fills the interior of a Colombo jazz club, where stage haze hangs suspended in the air. A craftsman stands as a dark silhouette against the bright backlight, his hands raised to carve a long bamboo flute. The tool scrapes the bamboo surface, sending thin shavings curling into the illuminated dust. Behind the figure, vintage wooden stools and heavy drapes define the intimate venue scale. Soft, out-of-focus light blooms in the foreground frame the artisan's focused posture. A thin shaving of bamboo catches the rim light, glowing bright white against the deep shadows of the room.
